1962

  • Founded in Lyon by Michel Jacquet, father of the current chairman, JACQUET specialized in the calibration of cut metals.

1977

  • A second production site is opened in Lizy-sur-Ourcq, that will become JACQUET Paris.

1988

  • Creation of  JACQUET Deutschland.
  • Acquisition of F.F.F. (Fabrication Française de Fonds) and its subsidiaries, FORME and O.S.S. (Oxycoupage Sciage Services).

1991

  • Creation of JACQUET Iberica
  • Creation of JACQUET Benelux

1993

  • On December 23, 1993, Eric Jacquet becomes majority shareholder (51%) of JACQUET S.A by buying his father's shares.

1994

  • Creation of JACQUET INDUSTRIES, owned 100% by Eric Jacquet.
  • JACQUET INDUSTRIES repurchases the 49% still held by Michel Jacquet in JACQUET S.A.

1997

  • Creation of JACQUET Nederland.
  • Purchase of F.F.F. and its subsidiaries by JACQUET INDUSTRIES.
  • October 23: JACQUET INDUSTRIES is floated on the Second Marché of the Paris Euronext market. The float is 15% of share capital.

 

1998

 

  • Creation of JACQUET UK
  • Creation of JACPOL (Poland)
  • Creation of JACQUET Polska (Poland)
  • Acquisition of shares of BEYER, renamed JACQUET Steinau (Germany).
  • 90% of the FRANCE INOX capital held by third parties is acquired.

1999

  • The aluminium activity is stopped (integrated department of JACQUET SA).
  • Acquisition (51%) of JACQUET Osiro (Switzerland), a joint venture with a local Partner (Flanschenfabrik Angeinstein GmbH).

 

2000

 

  • Creation of JACQUET Finland
  • Creation of a sales subsidiary in Austria, JACQUET Metallservice.

 

2001

 

  • FFF becomes 3F
  • Creation of JACQUET Nova (italy)

 

2002

 

  • Acquisition of SVETSPRODUKTER-JACQUET (Sweden) on January 1st, 2002, later renamed JACQUET Sverige.
  • Acquisition of DETAIL INOX (France) on April.

2003

  • Creation of a sales subsidiary in the Czech Republic, JACQUET s.r.o
  • The sales office in Budapest becomes a subsidiary, JACQUET Magyarorszag.
  • Creation of QUARTO Nordic, a storage and distribution platform of stainless steel plates.
  • Creation of JACQUET Danmark, sales subsidiary.

 

2004

 

  • Creation of a second subsidiary in the Netherlands, JACFRIESLAND, specialized in laser cutting.
  • Purchase by JACQUET INDUSTRIES of a 40% stake in JACQUET Danmark.
  • Creation of JACSLO in Slovenia.
  • Acquisition of a 51% stake in ERDBRÜGGER Metallservice in Germany.
  • Creation of JACQUET Shanghai Special Alloy Processing in China, service centre.
  • Creation of QUARTO Europe in Lyon, a storage and distribution platform of stainless steel plates.
  • Sale of the company FORME.

 

2005

 

  • Creation of a fourth subsidiary in Germany, JACQUET Berlin.
  • Creation of a sales subsidiary in Norway, JACQUET Norge.
  • Launch of a sales branch in Gdansk (Poland)
